As a Senior QA Engineer, you will design test strategies and automation for optical networking solutions, ensuring quality and performance through manual and automated testing, and collaborating with engineering teams.

Develop and test embedded software and firmware for optical networking pluggable devices. Responsibilities include understanding optical systems, applying telecom standards and protocols, coding in C and C++, and maintaining Python-based automated testing and validation frameworks. The role involves debugging, collaborating with global teams, and working under supervision within established technical guidelines.

Design, implement, test, and debug firmware for next-generation optical line systems, including ROADM, EDFA, and Raman products. Develop requirements and design documentation, collaborate with hardware, FPGA, software, manufacturing, and test teams, support hardware bring-up and customer issue resolution, contribute to architecture and design reviews, and improve development processes. The role requires embedded C/C++ development in multithreaded real-time environments, Linux or RTOS device drivers, hardware interface knowledge, and strong troubleshooting skills.
