Teams at Sezzle

Leads the technical vision, architecture, development, and migration strategy for Sezzle’s authentication and authorization platform. Designs scalable Go-based API gateways and identity services using AWS and SQL databases, establishes OAuth2/OIDC and authorization standards, drives secure zero-downtime migrations, and ensures reliability, observability, and regulatory compliance. The role also mentors engineers, influences cross-functional technical roadmaps, participates in on-call and incident response, and promotes responsible AI-assisted development for security-critical systems.

Architect and operate scalable, reliable infrastructure across Kubernetes, AWS, RDS, and distributed microservices. Lead capacity planning, benchmarking, observability, alerting, SLA enforcement, security, CI/CD, and infrastructure roadmap initiatives. Apply AI and automation to improve reliability and developer productivity. Optimize databases and production systems, identify bottlenecks, mentor engineers, and translate business objectives into technical roadmaps. The role requires strong Golang, backend, SRE, distributed systems, database, and cloud expertise.
