I would describe Smartling's work-life balance as flexible and remote-friendly. As long as you're getting your work done and are meeting your goals, you have the flexibility to take time off as needed, WFH and WFA! I've had more time to spend with my daughter and I love that I don't have to spend hours commuting to work!

Product at Smartling is a dynamic job that requires you to understand and work with other internal departments, users, customers and your own team. You need skills to effectively communicate and collaborate with each group at different levels of abstraction and detail.

I like to start each day by checking my emails and reviewing my task list to prioritize what needs to be done first. Then it can be anything from building out the workflows for data management to creating reports and dashboards for the Sales and Marketing teams to help plan future campaigns!

Scheduling weekly 1:1's with the reps I currently manage and really just ensuring that everyone on the team knows that my Slack is always open to any questions and ideas. I am always willing to jump on a quick Zoom call with anyone on the team. We also have monthly (Zoom) happy hour to boost team moral.
