What’s the coolest project you’ve worked on recently, and how did it help you grow professionally?
The most remarkable project I have been personally involved in at Thrive Market is our initiative to reshape our members’ shopping experience through AI. The project encompasses analyzing our members’ purchase shopping preferences gathered through a guided quiz and building a personalized shopping cart that saves them time and energy. It involves training AI models and combining them with rules to ensure that what the member sees in their cart is what they want to buy at that point in time.
We have embraced many data challenges in this project and have iterated swiftly to learn from our members. My team has been central to this project as we collect and clean the raw data, ensure it is available for analysis and training AI models and generate insights and trends. This project has enabled us to serve our members better and stay ahead of the curve and will open the door to many new opportunities. Being part of this project of integrating AI into the shopping experience has exposed me to the cutting-edge in the retail industry. It has broadened my perspective on being strategic and adapting to technological advancements.
