Owns a cybersecurity detection coverage area, including backlog prioritization, technical direction, detector design, implementation, code reviews, tuning, and performance measurement. The role improves detection fidelity, ATT&CK coverage, false-positive reduction, and regression prevention while translating threat intelligence, threat hunting, and SOC feedback into roadmap priorities. It requires deep expertise in at least one detection domain and hands-on detector-as-code development with version control and controlled deployment.

The Staff Threat Researcher will analyze threats, conduct proactive hunting, document findings, and manage flexible schedules to improve detection capabilities.

Design, scale, and maintain secure, highly available AWS infrastructure and platform capabilities for production AI/ML workloads. Build Terraform-based IaC, manage GitLab CI/CD pipelines, implement centralized observability with Prometheus/Grafana and alerting, drive DORA metrics, enable autoscaling/self-healing Kubernetes deployments, enforce platform governance and security best practices, and mentor engineering teams.
