Owns a cybersecurity detection coverage area, including backlog prioritization, technical direction, detector design, implementation, code reviews, tuning, and performance measurement. The role improves detection fidelity, ATT&CK coverage, false-positive reduction, and regression prevention while translating threat intelligence, threat hunting, and SOC feedback into roadmap priorities. It requires deep expertise in at least one detection domain and hands-on detector-as-code development with version control and controlled deployment.

Manage technical customer success for Zscaler solutions, aligning customer goals with product capabilities, driving implementations and best-practice adoption, mitigating risks, and identifying growth opportunities. Build stakeholder relationships, conduct reviews, troubleshoot networking issues, develop knowledge-base content, and collaborate with Sales, Support, and Product. The role supports enterprise cloud security deployments and requires expertise in networking protocols, operating systems, authentication, and customer-facing account management.

The Staff Threat Researcher will analyze threats, conduct proactive hunting, document findings, and manage flexible schedules to improve detection capabilities.
