Lead end-to-end application discovery and assessment: • Create an inventory of applications, versions, middleware, dependencies, data volumes, and non-functional requirements (performance, SLAs). • Use and validate discovery tools (e.g., Azure Migrate and dependency mapping tools) to generate application and infrastructure dependency maps. • Perform compatibility and risk assessments: • Assess compatibility with target Azure services and identify feature gaps, configuration or runtime constraints, and third party dependencies. • Recommend migration approach per application (rehost/lift-and-shift, refactor, or retire). • Develop wave planning and migration sequencing: • Define waves by business priority, complexity, dependencies, and risk profile. • Plan pilot and validation waves, staggered cutovers, and parallel run strategies. • Produce wave schedules, resource plans, and cutover windows. • Own migration planning and runbooks: • Produce migration runbooks with detailed steps for data replication, cutover, validation, rollback, and post-cutover verification. • Define migration tooling and patterns (Azure Migrate, Database Migration Service, replication or backup/restore strategies). • Execute or lead migration execution (lift-and-shift focus): • Coordinate with infra, network, DBAs, app teams and operations to execute migrations with minimal downtime. • Validate migrated application behavior, connectivity, security posture, and performance. • Design greenfield target-state application architecture on Azure:
