About the Role:

Wolters Kluwer is seeking a motivated and talented professional as an Xactly COE Analytics consultant to join a newly created Incentive Compensation & Planning COE that will support 5 core divisions, approximately 55 subsidiaries, and 3,000+ sellers across 140+ countries. The COE will partner with the various Divisions & Business Units while remaining a strong partner to the Sales Transformation team within the Corporate Strategy, Innovation, and M&A Group.

In this role, you will have an exciting opportunity to develop new capabilities in Xactly that will drive operational excellence to Sales, Sales Ops, Finance, HR, and other partnering functions globally.  You'll be leveraging Sales data to provide actionable insights that drive business decisions with Xactly. This role involves advanced data analysis, building predictive models, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize processes and strategies. as well as partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to ideate & develop scalable solutions that drives sales performance excellence and ultimately boosts revenue.

Responsibilities:

  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for growth using Xactly Apps
  • Execute and monitor Xactly sales and analytics.
  • Implementation of sales analytics projects using Xactly
  • Partner with Sales, Finance, and Marketing teams to align Xactly analytics with business objectives
  • Maintain sales Xactly analytics processes and tool
  • Calculate and verify sales compensation and incentive payouts.
  • Deployment of Xactly analytics solutions and other BI tools (If required)
  • Assist in identifying opportunities for process improvements.
  • Participate in the development of Xactly and Analytics related training materials
  • Analyze sales performance metrics.
  • Provide support for sales system and tool utilization.

Skills & Experiences:

  • 2+ years with Sales Comp related responsibilities (preferred), or 0 to 3 years with Sales Operations, Financial systems, Business Intelligence systems, or Workforce systems
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, or a related field
  • Xactly Administrator Certification(s), or ability to obtain after onboarding
  • Experience in sales compensation administration, sales operations, sales performance, or system(s) configuration is preferred, other hard and soft skills are relevant; ability to obtain Xactly certifications is necessary after onboarding
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to generate insightful analytics from complex data
  • Ability to collaborate and build relationships across various teams.
  • Detail oriented mindset
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Planning and organizational skills
  • Excellent data management skills
  • Strong PC skills with a good understanding of Excel, PowerPoint, and coding languages (specifically SQL)
  • Coding: SQL (beginner to intermediate)

Nice to Have:

  • Certification(s) in Analytics systems are preferred, but not required (i.e. Tableau, Power BI, Data Studio)
  • Certification(s) in Sales Compensation or Sales Operations systems are preferred, but not required (i.e. Xactly, Varicent, SAP-Callidus, Anaplan, etc)
