Analytics Engineer - SQL,Snowflake, Dbt, Tableau
Location: Nasuni Hyderabad - Hybrid - 3 Days onsite / 2 Days Remote
Role OverviewNasuni is transforming how enterprise data drives business outcomes. As an Analytics Engineer, you will support the development of data models, transformations, and metrics that power reporting and analytics across the business.
This role sits at the intersection of data engineering and analytics. You will work closely with experienced team members to translate business requirements into reliable data assets using Snowflake and dbt.
This role is ideal for someone early in their career who enjoys working with data and building strong SQL and data modeling skills. It is not a data science or advanced architecture role.
Level & Scope Definition- Contribute to data models and transformations within an established data platform (Snowflake + dbt)
- Implement business logic in SQL under guidance from senior team members
- Support development and validation of business metrics
- Follow established practices for testing, documentation, and version control
- Gain exposure to AI/automation workflows through data preparation and validation
- Build and maintain SQL-based transformations using dbt with guidance
- Support development of curated data models for reporting and analytics
- Assist in documenting data models and business logic
- Help implement business KPIs in dashboards and analytics workflows
- Validate data outputs and support troubleshooting efforts
- Work with analysts to ensure accuracy and consistency of data
- Follow Git-based workflows for version control
- Support testing, monitoring, and documentation of data pipelines
- Assist in identifying and resolving data quality issues
- Support preparation of datasets used in AI/ML or automation workflows
- Help validate data used in AI-enabled systems
- Use AI tools to improve productivity in SQL development and documentation
- Perform basic analyses (e.g., trends, funnel metrics, segmentation)
- Support senior team members on deeper analytical work
- 2–3 years of experience in data, analytics, or related roles
- Strong foundational SQL skills (joins, aggregations, basic performance concepts)
- Exposure to Snowflake, dbt, or similar modern data stack tools
- Basic understanding of data modeling and data warehouse concepts
- Familiarity with Git or version control workflows
- Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn
- Ability to collaborate and communicate clearly with team members
- Exposure to AI tools used for improving productivity (e.g., query writing, debugging, documentation)
- Experience working with BI tools such as Tableau or Looker
- Exposure to dbt projects in a team environment
- Familiarity with SaaS or business data (e.g., sales, product usage, customer data)
- Exposure to operational systems such as Salesforce or HubSpot
- Experience contributing to shared data models or analytics projects
- Exposure to data testing, documentation, or pipeline monitoring
- Demonstrated ability to learn new tools and improve workflows
- 2–3 years total experience in data or analytics roles
- 1–2+ years working with SQL in a professional environment
- Exposure to at least one modern data tool (dbt, Snowflake, or equivalent)
