Operating in a continually changing environment, our diversified consultants deliver on multi-disciplinary projects around travel and expense program optimisation, from traditional sourcing activities up to enhanced sustainability initiatives.
We’re now looking for an ambitious specialist to join our delivery team based in India, preferably with a strong hands-on knowledge of GDS systems and optimization.
What You'll Do:
- Individual Contributor role focused on improving results of existing optimization initiatives and identifying new opportunities.
- Responsible for finding new savings opportunities by thorough analysis of client’s booking behaviour as well as applying operational knowledge to expand the savings and stay one step ahead of the industry.
- Evaluating a mix of pre-trip reports and GDS queues for optimization opportunity.
- Re-booking air and hotel reservations with lower rates, applying corporate contract rate and policy knowledge.
What We're Looking For:
- Preferably good knowledge of airline industry and airfare distribution
- Excellent working knowledge of Sabre, Galileo and Amadeus native GDS systems
- Ability to act as a trusted advisor, capable of identifying expansion opportunity during customer interaction.
- Collaborative, energetic, flexible and can-do attitude. You'll be able to rally people together from within the client organisation through to internal resources to get things done.
- Critical thinker who thrives on working in an innovative environment that champions knowledge sharing and team collaboration.
- Analytically minded, understands data with ease and is comfortable in its transformation into insights and conclusions.
- Can multi-task with ease and manage competing priorities.
- Diverse in thinking and approach, will adapt well in a truly global team and can overcome cultural challenges or barriers at ease.
- Comfort with ambiguous, ever-changing situations.
- Ability to solve problems with quantitative thinking and in-depth analysis.
- A good academic background or lengthy tenure with solid experience in your field.
