Summary:
As an Application Support Engineer, a typical day involves acting as a software detective by actively monitoring and investigating issues across various components of essential business systems. This role requires a proactive approach to identifying problems, analyzing system behavior, and ensuring the smooth operation of critical applications. The position demands continuous vigilance and dynamic problem-solving to maintain system reliability and support business continuity in a fast-paced environment.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to perform independently and become an SME.
- Required active participation/contribution in team discussions.
- Contribute in providing solutions to work related problems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely resolution of incidents and minimize system downtime.
- Document troubleshooting steps and solutions to build a knowledge base for future reference.
- Assist in the development and implementation of process improvements to enhance system stability and performance.
- Support junior team members by sharing knowledge and providing guidance on complex issues.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in Site Reliability Engineering.
- Strong understanding of system monitoring and incident management practices.
- Experience with automation tools to streamline operational tasks and improve efficiency.
- Ability to analyze logs and metrics to diagnose and resolve system issues.
- Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and deployment environments.
- Skilled in scripting languages to support automation and troubleshooting activities.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 2 years of experience in Site Reliability Engineering.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
