  • Ensure that editors demonstrate expected behaviours, including adherence to the code of conduct.
  • Implement remedial actions or retraining for editors who do not meet performance expectations.
  • Implement remedial actions or initiate retraining for editorial office administrators or vendor-partner editorial assistants when expectations are not consistently met.
  • Share insights about consistently poor editor performance with Publishing Development and/or Partner Publishing colleagues.
  • Seek guidance on remedial action plans and support with enforcing alignment, as appropriate.

  • Contribute to accurate product data masters by recording journal-level changes.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Collaborate with internal colleagues to achieve departmental and customer-focused goals and objectives.
  • Partner with editorial data analysts to advance improvements based on data-driven approaches and insights.
  • Work with Research Publishing colleagues on journal-specific strategic initiatives and relationship management, and provide information and data to support improvements at the journal level.
  • Contribute to relevant projects, as required.

Qualifications:

  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple journals and priorities.
  • Effective communication, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
