The purpose of this role is to oversee the translating of clients merchandising and/or requests into actionabable tactics on clients website. This role oversees merchandisiers and/or content specialists who are managing clients website through product setup, promotion management, content and/or optimisation activities. May be responsible for leading a team of resources across multiple clients, actioning clients requests. This role serves as a SME for the platform, troubleshooting and provides guidance to client and internal team on best practices across the website.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:

Develop, configure, and maintain CMS-based websites and applications.

Create and customize CMS templates, layouts, renderings, and reusable components following best practices.

Implement and optimize CMS workflows, personalization, and content authoring features.

Integrate CMS with external systems (CRMs, APIs, and third-party services).

Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and performance optimization.

Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve CMS-related issues in a timely manner.

Collaborate with UX, QA, and backend teams to ensure seamless project delivery.

Support ongoing enhancements, upgrades, and CMS migrations where required.

Required Skills & Experience:

8+ years of hands-on experience in CMS development

Solid understanding of CMS architecture, templates, rendering types, and pipelines.

Knowledge of CMS Headless Services and JSS (JavaScript Services) is a plus.

Working knowledge of front-end technologies (HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, React/Angular preferred).

Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git, Azure DevOps) and deployment pipelines.

Exposure to Azure PaaS, CMS upgrades, and cloud deployments is an advantage.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.

Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.

Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
