About the Role
We are seeking an accomplished Tech Lead - Java Full Stack Development to lead and drive end-to-end application development initiatives. In this role, you will be responsible for architecting, designing, and implementing scalable full-stack solutions while providing technical leadership to development teams. You will work across the entire technology stack—from UI and business logic to data integration and infrastructure—ensuring delivery of high-quality, robust applications that meet business objectives.
This is a leadership role that requires deep technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to mentor and guide teams in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership & Architecture
- Lead the design and development of end-to-end full-stack applications, ensuring architectural soundness, scalability, and performance.
- Define technical standards, best practices, and coding guidelines for the team.
- Provide guidance on technology selection, framework adoption, and integration strategies.
- Conduct design reviews, code reviews, and ensure adherence to quality standards.
Full Stack Development
- Build robust back-end services and APIs using Java, Spring Boot, and Apache Camel.
- Develop and optimize database schemas, queries, and stored procedures using SQL and relational databases.
- Implement messaging and event-driven architectures using Kafka or other queue management tools.
- Integrate systems and applications through RESTful APIs, web services, and middleware solutions.
- As per the requirement, should be able to design and develop user interfaces using modern front-end technologies such as HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, React JS, or Angular JS.
DevOps & CI/CD
- Champion CI/CD practices and ensure seamless integration, automated testing, and deployment pipelines.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to manage infrastructure, monitoring, and release management.
- Experience with Autosys for batch job scheduling is a plus.
Agile & Team Collaboration
- Work closely with product owners, business analysts, and stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Lead agile ceremonies including sprint planning, retrospectives, and daily stand-ups.
- Mentor junior and mid-level developers, fostering a culture of learning and continuous improvement.
Quality & Maintenance
- Ensure comprehensive unit testing, integration testing, and system testing of developed components.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues, performance bottlenecks, and technical debt.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance application performance, security, and maintainability.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Must-Have Technical Skills:
- Java (8+ years of hands-on experience)
- Spring Boot (building microservices and RESTful APIs)
- Apache Camel (integration and routing frameworks)
- SQL Development (query optimization, stored procedures, database design)
- Kafka or other Queue Management Tools (event streaming, messaging)
- Good to have -> Front-End Technologies: HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, Bootstrap, React JS or Angular JS
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, Web Services, and integration patterns
- Proficiency in version control systems (Git, Bitbucket, GitHub)
Optional/Preferred Skills:

Educational Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (Preferred)
- Equivalent professional experience will also be considered
Experience Requirements
- Minimum 8+ years of professional software development experience in Java full-stack technologies
- 10+ years preferred with demonstrated leadership or tech lead experience
- Proven track record of delivering complex, enterprise-grade applications
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines, DevOps practices, and cloud-native development
