Has full authority for people management including: assigning, directing, and evaluating work; hiring, disciplining and firing employees.

Conducts performance evaluations and career development discussions; approves salary and bonus actions; and ensures appropriate orientation and on-going education/training.

Leads overall testing effort; monitors execution status and escalates risk areas as needed.

Oversees all aspects of Quality Assurance including: establishing metrics, applying industry best practices, and developing new tools/processes to ensure quality goals are met.

Acts as key point of contact for all Quality Assurance (QA) aspects of release.

Coordinates cross-team test execution; acts as central communication point between client and internal project team.

Coordinates and manages resolution of software quality assurance issues.

Manages and provides work direction to a team of QA Test Analysts.

Produces test strategy/plans and ensures plans are followed.

Creates structured objectives for test methodologies.

Defines and implements Quality Assurance processes that are followed throughout the Software Development life cycle.
