Associate Principal Engineer, Sitecore Technical Architect

REQUIREMENTS:

• Total Experience 9+ years
• Strong hands-on experience in designing and implementing enterprise solutions using Sitecore.
• Strong expertise in Sitecore XP, XM, XM Cloud, and enterprise Digital Experience Platforms (DXP).
• Extensive experience with Sitecore Headless Services, Sitecore JSS, SXA, Experience Editor, and Experience Edge.
• Experience designing and implementing Headless CMS and Composable DXP architectures.
• Strong knowledge of Sitecore Personalization, Marketing Automation, and Sitecore Content Hub (preferred).
• Hands-on experience with .NET Framework, .NET Core/.NET 8+, ASP.NET MVC, ASP.NET Core, C#, Web APIs, and Entity Framework.
• Strong understanding of software architecture principles, SOLID principles, design patterns, and enterprise application architecture.
• Experience with React.js, Next.js, JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and modern front-end development.
• Experience designing and implementing integrations with CRM, ERP, CDP, DAM, Marketing Automation platforms, Search platforms, Identity Providers, and third-party applications.
• Strong experience with Microsoft Azure services including Azure App Services, Azure Functions, Azure Storage, Azure Key Vault, Azure Application Insights, and Azure DevOps.
• Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines and cloud-native deployments.
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes is preferred.
• Strong experience with SQL Server, Azure SQL, Solr Search, and Azure Cognitive Search (preferred).
• Experience leading Sitecore upgrades, migrations, platform modernization, and cloud transformation initiatives.
• Strong understanding of security, scalability, performance optimization, caching, and content delivery strategies.
• Experience with Agile development methodologies and enterprise software delivery.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage business and technical teams.
• Experience mentoring developers, conducting architecture reviews, and establishing engineering best practices.
• Sitecore and Microsoft Azure certifications are preferred.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Define and own the overall architecture for Sitecore-based Digital Experience Platform (DXP) solutions.
• Design scalable, secure, high-performing, and maintainable Sitecore solutions aligned with business objectives.
• Lead architecture discussions and provide technical leadership to development teams throughout the project lifecycle.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, product owners, UX teams, and engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Design and implement enterprise-grade solutions using Sitecore XP, XM, XM Cloud, Headless Services, JSS, and SXA.
• Lead Sitecore platform upgrades, migrations, cloud modernization, and digital transformation initiatives.
• Architect Headless CMS and Composable DXP solutions leveraging modern front-end frameworks such as React.js and Next.js.
• Define development standards, coding guidelines, architecture governance, and best practices across delivery teams.
• Design enterprise integrations with CRM, ERP, CDP, DAM, Marketing Automation, Search platforms, Identity Providers, and other third-party systems.
• Ensure application scalability, security, performance, availability, and maintainability across all digital platforms.
• Collaborate with DevOps teams to establish CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, monitoring, and deployment strategies.
• Review technical designs, perform architecture assessments, and ensure compliance with enterprise architecture standards.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide architectural guidance for critical production incidents.
• Evaluate emerging Sitecore capabilities and recommend platform improvements and modernization opportunities.
• Support pre-sales activities, solution estimation, architecture proposals, and technical presentations when required.
• Mentor engineers, conduct design reviews, and promote engineering excellence across teams.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of enterprise digital experience solutions.

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
