Requirements

• Experience : 4+ years
• Strong hands-on experience in enterprise integration development.
• Strong hands-on experience with IBM API Connect v10/v12.
• Strong hands-on experience with IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) v12/v13.
• Strong experience with IBM MQ and message-based integration.
• Strong knowledge of REST, SOAP, XML, XSD, and JSON.
• Strong experience with OAuth 2.0, JWT, and TLS security mechanisms.
• Strong knowledge of OpenAPI/Swagger, YAML, JSON, and REST architectural principles.
• Hands-on experience developing message flows and integration solutions using IBM ACE.
• Strong experience with ESQL and good knowledge of Java for integration development.
• Experience developing transformations and working with DFDL, XML schemas, and message models.
• Experience integrating systems using MQ, REST, SOAP, JDBC, ODBC, and other enterprise connectivity mechanisms.
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing APIs using IBM API Connect.
• Experience configuring API policies for security, authentication, authorization, throttling, rate limiting, transformation, and traffic management.
• Experience integrating APIs with ACE, MQ, microservices, databases, and external applications.
• Understanding of API governance, lifecycle management, naming conventions, documentation, and enterprise standards.
• Strong troubleshooting skills with experience resolving production issues, gateway errors, security exceptions, connectivity problems, latency, and performance bottlenecks.
• Experience preparing unit test cases, executing unit testing, and fixing defects identified during testing.
• Experience supporting SIT/UAT and resolving integration-related defects.
• Ability to analyze business and technical requirements and translate them into scalable integration solutions.
• Strong collaboration skills with architects, backend teams, development teams, and other technical stakeholders.
• Good understanding of enterprise integration patterns, API management, messaging, and distributed systems.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy enterprise integration solutions and message flows using IBM App Connect Enterprise (ACE) v12/v13.
• Design, build, publish, and manage REST APIs using IBM API Connect v10/v12.
• Develop and maintain integrations using IBM MQ, REST APIs, SOAP services, JDBC, ODBC, and other enterprise integration technologies.
• Create and maintain message models using DFDL, XML schemas, XSD, JSON, and related data formats.
• Develop transformation and integration logic using ESQL and Java.
• Apply REST architectural principles and develop APIs using OpenAPI/Swagger and YAML specifications.
• Configure and implement API policies for authentication, authorization, rate limiting, throttling, transformation, and security.
• Implement API security using OAuth 2.0, JWT, TLS, and role-based access controls.
• Integrate APIs with backend systems including ACE, IBM MQ, microservices, databases, and external applications.
• Define and implement API governance standards, naming conventions, lifecycle practices, and documentation guidelines.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to message flows, APIs, gateways, connectivity, security, and integration failures.
• Analyze and optimize message flow and API performance, including latency and throughput improvements.
• Participate in requirements analysis and provide integration architecture and solution design recommendations.
• Collaborate with architects, backend developers, application teams, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and implement effective integration solutions.
• Develop unit test cases and perform unit testing for integration flows and APIs.
• Support System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) cycles and resolve defects identified during testing.
• Prepare and maintain deployment artifacts and support deployment across environments.
• Create and maintain technical documentation including mapping sheets, solution designs, API specifications, integration patterns, and operational documentation.
• Support continuous improvement of integration frameworks, reusable components, and enterprise integration standards.

Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
