General Summary:

This position is responsible for processing client data sets including data analysis, manipulation and developing cleansed or customized data in response to specific client requests to ensure the most complete, accurate and contextual results. This position is also responsible for providing technical set up and documentation on computer systems. Effective communications and consulting with users to determine system functional specifications is expected.

Data analysis will include, but not limited to understanding data required and assuring it is available, such as Mail dates, List IDs, Mail split information as well as US address and City, state, zip codes. If data is missing working with the correct individuals to determine what that data should be to include in the process or determining if new files are needed to be requested. In most cases the data would be expected to be filled in based on information received.

Technical setup would include creating workflows within the Workbench UI, which involves Data preparation, Layouts and determine which services to set up. An understanding of the services and what data is needed to be mapped as well as retained from that service would be required.

Roles & Responsibilities:

We are looking for a Technical Operations Associate who will be responsible for below:

1. Develop and maintain an expert knowledge of specialized data processing and database application functionality and utilization. Gain knowledge of the process and learn to continuously identify improvement in process tools and design. Tools used will be ETL tool which may involve some sequel scripting and/or Workbench which involves understanding both data and services being used and utilizing or creating workflows. Will also used job management tools such as Jira or Sharepoint.
2. Assist with translation and performing high-level job flow into technical instructions to execute computer processing.
3. Track and manage projects to ensure high quality, on-time delivery to the client and adherence to client service level agreements.
4. Code and run preset utilities, making modifications dependent on client customized requirements in a production environment.
5. Run client database files through Company proprietary data processing systems and postal hygiene products.
6. Maintain and improve personal technical skills on a continuous basis. Gaining knowledge of Dataxle databases and the services provided to complete any type of custom DP process requested.
7. Document process for each project utilizing standard documentation procedures.
8. Assist in identification and resolution of production related errors. Actively participate in making recommendations and suggestions to enhance process improvements.
9. Complete quality control analysis of data to ensure integrity prior to finalizing and turning over to Account Operations.
10. Collect, review, code and input data into a computer operating system. Convert client data into a format compatible with internal systems. Audit output data. This position would be using Workbench or ETL tool which is the user interface to set up the process flows submitting into the system and/or systems.
11. Promote positive and professional client partnerships through communication and follow-up.
12. Understanding Functions and expressions and how to use them when manipulating data.

Qualifications:

1. Associate's degree or equivalent is preferred.
2. 2+years previous relevant experience is preferred.
3. Database, programming, and report writing experience preferred.
4. Previous mainframe or Information Technology experience is preferred.
5. Strong written and oral communication skills.
6. Knowledge of MS Office (Excel and Access), SQL knowledge helpful.
7. Excellent data analysis and data conversion skills with precise attention to detail.
8. Strong personal initiative to learn.
9. Ability to use existing tools to process data according to client specifications.
10. Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with individuals across all departments in the company in an articulate, professional manner.
11. Ability to make independent decisions within time constraints.
12. Strong problem resolution and logical thinking skills.

20. SLA's can range from same day to multiple day, required ship dates will be provided on project requirements. This position would be responsible for meeting or exceeding those dates as well as communicating in a timely manner if the date could not be met.
