Job Description Summary
We are seeking a Pune based AV tech to join our AV Services in Global Technology & Operations.
Team/Group Description
This is a full time, Pune based role that will interact with all AB businesses and will be working with all of Alliance Bernstein's existing and future audio-visual technology, such as Zoom, Polycom, Black Magic Design etc.
Role Description
This full time AV tech is a key role for our firm providing excellent AV service and support (both independently and also in collaborative environments) with a focus on excellent customer service.
Key job responsibilities include, but are not limited to
Client Support
Customer service is key
Must be professional in emails as well as face to face meetings
Shared Inbox and Slack Communication
Utilizing our shared AV inbox to keep track of meeting requests, room issues, virtual Zoom support, etc.
Utilizing our team Slack channels to communicate proficiently
Provide updates to the team on any issues that may arise
Respond promptly to service emails and slacks
Communicate to the team if running late or out sick
Assist with choosing and leveraging equipment appropriate to client need
Assist clients with operation of audiovisual equipment
Support webcasts, web conferences, podcasts & video conferences
Create, track and update service tickets relating to audiovisual requests and issues
Perform routine maintenance of audiovisual equipment
Assist with troubleshooting, updating and correcting issues with audiovisual equipment
Site Coverage
Support must be available when meetings are taking place
MPR meetings require a tech for the duration of the event
Mon-Fri on-site coverage during normal business hours even if no scheduled meetings
Submit time off requests via Workday as far in advance as possible
AV and Non-AV Team Meetings
Meet weekly with AV team to review the previous and upcoming week and any AV related items
Meet with Events and Facilities team to discuss large events
Meet with product and collaboration teams for projects or application updates
Meetings, Webinars and Event Support
When assigned to a meeting or event. gather event details from meeting host and EMS
Test all room equipment and functionality before meeting
Connect equipment and confirm working with meeting host
Recording and Live Streaming
Set up, operate and maintain cameras, microphones, lighting and recording gear
Efficiently produce live streams and recordings with proper framing, focus and exposure. As well as proper mic placement and audio capture.
Upload and Share recorded media same day as recording or event to be edited and/or distributed.
Ticketing and Troubleshooting
Creating INC and PRBs on Zoom Room issues
Work with AV Engineering to troubleshoot problems
Daily inspections of Zoom Room portal to check device status
Provide frequent updates to INC’s and PRB’s with as much detail as possible
Documentation
Create and organize KB’s or guides on room features or settings
Update documents with outdated info
Ensure availability of documents to the entire team
Virtual Zoom Support
Assist users with planning and creating webinars when requested
Join webinars early with hosts and panelists to confirm settings, video, and audio quality

This AV role works directly with every group at Alliance Bernstein (including CEO and senior leadership) using the latest audio visual recording and live streaming equipment, platforms and technologies.
Job Qualifications
The ideal candidate will be an expert at all things audio visual while able to service and support the firms AV needs with an emphasis on customer service and communication.
Qualifications, Experience, Education
Customer service is key
Must be professional in all communication (in person & online)
Expert at audio/video production and live streaming (3 years + experience)
Experience with live event sound and video production
Knowledge of platforms such as Zoom, ServiceNow ticketing system
Skills

Manual camera operation for recording and live streaming (framing, composition, focus, exposure & white balance)
Proper audio recording with handheld & lavalier microphones
