JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities & Scope
Product Management
- Own Sooka's product feature roadmap across VOD, live channels, and app / UX, prioritising features that drive core KPIs
- Understand user behaviour data and contribute towards content and marketing strategies that drive core KPIs.
- Work closely with the stakeholder teams to translate product strategy into a delivery plan, and track feature performance post launch.
Growth
- Growth hacking: build data led growth strategies for Sooka by identifying opportunities within the existing user base, addressable market, or by learning from competitors.
- User Engagement: work closely with the Marketing team to manage and scale daily and monthly new viewing users to drive watch time and CLV.
- Customer lifecycle management: use data and available tools to understand user segments deeply, planning and executing campaigns that drive engagement, increase retention, and reduce churn.
Cross Functional Leadership
- Partner with the Partnerships team to align product and growth priorities with partners, telcos and distribution deals.
- Partner with Content teams to ensure product and growth strategy reflect audience segmentation and content plans.
Reporting & Planning
- Work closely with senior management on regular weekly and monthly reporting and Sooka performance tracking.
- Own Sooka KPI setting and performance projections using modelling tools, partnering with senior management on business planning.
REQUIREMENTS:
Qualifications
- At least 8 to 10 years of relevant experience within OTT, e-commerce, or digital space, including experience in both product management and growth functions. Preferably with experience building a challenger brand.
- At least 2 to 3 years of stakeholder management experience, in a product or growth team.
- Demonstrated experience owning a product roadmap and working cross functionally with engineering or tech teams.
- Strong data and analytical skills, with experience using elasticity, cohort, or funnel analysis to inform decisions.
- Tertiary education from a technical or business background.
