Role Overview

As part of our Architecture group, you will be responsible for architecting, designing, developing, and maintaining AWS cloud infrastructure to support the evolving needs of our products. This is a hands-on role that demands strong technical expertise and the ability to lead cloud-based solution design and implementation.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and maintain scalable and secure AWS infrastructure and services.
   
• Manage and support enterprise-class security, network, and systems within a managed service environment.
   
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automation of maintenance tasks, and security automation.
   
• Collaborate with development teams to design AWS-based solutions and support product architecture.
   
• Develop frameworks, solution accelerators, and proofs of concept for external customer-facing products.
   
• Optimize infrastructure performance and cost in a multi-account AWS environment.
   
• Ensure best practices in cloud security, monitoring, logging, and alerting are followed.
   
• Lead initiatives to support high-volume, latency-sensitive SaaS platforms.
   
• Participate in DevOps activities including CI/CD implementation and automation.

Required Skills & Experience

• Minimum 3+ years of experience in AWS infrastructure design, implementation, and support.
   
• Strong hands-on experience with core AWS services: EC2, EBS, S3, VPC, Route53, IAM, CloudFront, RDS, ECS/EKS.
   
• Proficient with advanced AWS services: CloudWatch, Lambda, Redshift, API Gateway, CloudFormation, CloudTrail, DynamoDB, Kinesis, Athena, AWS Glue, Amazon Aurora.
   
• Experience with Microservices, RESTful APIs, and application integration.

• Solid understanding of networking fundamentals, security groups, load balancers, NAT gateways.
   
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (GitLab CI, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline).
   
• Good command of Linux OS, server hardware, and databases (MySQL, NoSQL).
   
• Experience with APM and monitoring tools like Datadog, Prometheus, Sentry, New Relic, Dynatrace.
   
• Containerization and orchestration experience with Docker and Kubernetes (ECS/EKS).
   
• Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
   
• Hands-on with infrastructure automation tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.
   
• Sound knowledge of cloud security best practices.
   

Nice to Have

• AWS Certification (Solutions Architect / DevOps Engineer – Associate or Professional)
   
• Experience with Salesforce or CRM integrations
   
• Exposure to cost optimization strategies in a multi-account AWS setup
