- 5–8 years of experience in design or development within Analytics and Data Warehousing projects.
- Hands-on experience in building end-to-end solutions using Big Data platforms, Spark, or Scala programming.
- 5+ years of solid experience in developing ETL pipelines using Spark or Scala, along with strong working knowledge of UNIX Shell Scripting, Oracle SQL, and PL/SQL.
- Experience in building data pipelines on AWS cloud ecosystem, leveraging native AWS services.
- Knowledge of Python and exposure to additional programming languages is highly recommended.
- Experience in building AI/GenAI-powered engineering applications is highly valued.
- Practical exposure to GenAI frameworks such as LangChain, Llama, and Hugging Face, along with automation applications, is highly desirable.
- Strong experience with Oracle SQL, including database programming, SQL performance tuning, and relational data modeling.
- Extensive experience working with Teradata data warehouses and Cloudera Hadoop.
- Proficiency across a broad range of Enterprise Analytics / BI / DW / ETL technologies, including:
- Teradata Control Framework
- Tableau
- OBIEE
- SAS
- Apache Spark
- Hive
You will be expected to perform the following tasks and responsibilities:
Core Responsibilities- Understand customer business objectives and design end-to-end data-centric solutions to address their needs.
- Lead or participate in defining, executing, and communicating ETL strategies and technical solutions.
- Develop data staging, data architecture components, and consume internal and external application interfaces.
- Collaborate with business users, operational teams, data management groups, and infrastructure partners to ensure adherence to guidelines, restrictions, requirements, and industry best practices.
- Participate across the full Agile project lifecycle — from ideation through implementation.
- Design technical solutions and consumption patterns for business requirements of increasing complexity.
- Deliver high-quality, sustainable technology solutions aligned with approved delivery frameworks.
- Ensure that solutions are robust, secure, and highly available.
- Promote and apply industry best practices to continuously uplift technical quality.
- Demonstrate and encourage a continuous improvement mindset within teams and projects.
- Contribute to delivery planning, providing guidance to ensure technical deliveries align with engineering direction and strategy.
