What success looks like in this role:
Data Architect
Manage & Drive Platform Maturity
· Investigate, scope, and design new capabilities (e.g., business-facing data catalogue, private networking for Databricks).
· Define architectural standards for Databricks and Azure ecosystems (e.g., right-sized SQL warehouse endpoints)
· Recommend new tools and methods for competitive advantage
Strategic Guidance
· Advise on industry trends (e.g., Lakehouse Architecture, Unity Catalogue integration).
· Translate business needs into technical requirements (e.g., compliance with GDPR/NIST frameworks)
· Go beyond execution to help shape the platform’s future.
Collaboration
· Work with business stakeholders and technical teams to balance innovation with operational constraints.
Strategic Influence & Mentorship
· Define and Refine data strategy & Architecture.
· Industry Insights sharing
· Collaborate on defining the data platform roadmap
· Mentor Internal team and promote best practices

You will be successful in this role if you have:
BA/BS degree and 8+ years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience
