Job Summary
Synechron is seeking a talented Business Analyst specializing in Technology Management to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in bridging the gap between business needs and technological solutions, ensuring our technology initiatives align with strategic business goals and deliver significant value. As a Business Analyst, you will play a key role in analyzing technology solutions, facilitating communication between technical teams and stakeholders, and driving technology management excellence within the organization.
Software Requirements
Required Proficiency:
- JIRA and Confluence: Proficient level of experience required
- Familiarity with project management software tools
Preferred Proficiency:
- Data analysis tools and techniques
Overall Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to articulate business needs and translate them into technical specifications.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of existing systems and processes to identify optimization opportunities.
- Develop comprehensive business requirements documentation, use cases, and process flows.
- Act as a liaison between business units and IT teams to ensure clear communication and understanding of project goals.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings to gather and present findings.
- Assist in evaluating and selecting technology solutions that support business objectives.
- Support project management activities, including planning, execution, and monitoring of deliverables.
- Perform testing and validation of technology solutions to ensure they align with business requirements.
- Provide training and support to end-users on new systems and processes.
- Monitor industry trends and emerging technologies to offer insights and recommendations for improvement.
Technical Skills (By Category)
Development Tools and Methodologies:
- Required: Agile, Waterfall methodologies
- Preferred: Familiarity with SDLC
Data Management:
- Preferred: Proficiency in data analysis tools
Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in business analysis, preferably within technology management or IT.
- Proven experience with requirements gathering, documentation, and analysis.
- Industry experience in technology management is preferred but not mandatory.
Day-to-Day Activities
- Engage in regular meetings and collaborations with stakeholders and technical teams.
- Deliver detailed documentation and reports as part of project involvement.
- Make informed decisions regarding technology solutions and business requirements.
- Participate in workshops and training sessions to support continuous learning.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent experience may be considered.
