Purpose of the Role
We are seeking a high-performing Business Development Manager to identify, develop, and grow business opportunities for BSI’s assurance services (management system certification, internal and supplier audits) and ISO standards–based training. The role focuses on sustainability, quality, health, and safety across sectors including Manufacturing, Energy, IT, Services, Infrastructure, Healthcare, Built Environment, Food & Retail, and Government/PSU.

Key Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue growth by achieving sales targets and executing annual operating sales plans

  • Promote and sell the full “One BSI” portfolio to new and existing clients within an assigned geography

  • Identify, qualify, and close new business opportunities while managing the full sales lifecycle

  • Build strong client relationships by understanding current and future business needs

  • Ensure sold business is delivered accurately, compliantly, and on time

  • Maintain CRM (Salesforce) discipline, pipeline accuracy, and forecast reliability

  • Act as a brand ambassador, promoting BSI’s values and “Make Excellence a Habit” philosophy

Key Performance Indicators

  • Revenue and new business growth

  • Pipeline coverage and forecast accuracy

  • New client acquisition and cross-/up-sell performance

  • CRM compliance, proposal quality, and turnaround time

  • Client engagement, events participation, and networking outcomes

Skills & Experience

  • Proven B2B sales experience with a strong record of exceeding targets

  • Experience in solution selling within assurance, certification, training, or professional services

  • Strong negotiation, presentation, and executive-level communication skills

  • Ability to manage complex sales cycles in a KPI-driven environment

  • Degree-level qualification or equivalent experience

Additional Information

  • Travel required based on client and business needs
