Cloud Engineer

As a Cloud Engineer at Suzega, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing cloud infrastructure across multiple cloud platforms. You'll work with cutting-edge technologies to build scalable, secure, and resilient cloud solutions that enable our AI-driven innovations. The ideal candidate should possess deep expertise across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform, with strong automation skills and a strategic mindset for multi-cloud architecture.

• Design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions across AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud Platform
  

• Build and maintain highly available, scalable, and secure cloud environments
  

• Develop infrastructure as code using Terraform, CloudFormation, ARM Templates, or similar tools
  

• Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines for automated deployment and configuration management
  

• Design and optimize multi-cloud networking architectures including VPNs, VPCs, and hybrid connectivity
  

• Establish monitoring, logging, and alerting systems using cloud-native and third-party tools
  

• Implement security best practices including identity management, encryption, and compliance controls
  

• Optimize cloud costs through resource management, right-sizing, and architectural improvements
  

• Automate operational tasks using scripting languages (Python, Bash, PowerShell)
  

• Collaborate with development teams to design cloud-native application architectures
  

• Lead incident response and troubleshooting for cloud infrastructure issues
  

• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to technical documentation and knowledge sharing
  

• Stay current with emerging cloud technologies and recommend strategic improvements
  

What You'll Bring

• 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering and infrastructure management
  

• Expert-level knowledge of at least two major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
  

• Strong experience with infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Pulumi, CloudFormation, ARM Templates)
  

• Proficiency in containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, ECS, AKS, GKE)
  

• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, CircleCI)
  

• Advanced scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell
  

• Deep understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, load balancing, firewalls, VPN)
  

• Experience with configuration management tools (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, Salt)
  

• Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, CloudWatch, Datadog, New Relic)
  

• Strong understanding of security best practices and compliance frameworks (ISO 27001, SOC 2, GDPR)
  

• Experience with serverless architectures and microservices design patterns
  

• Familiarity with database technologies (SQL, NoSQL, managed database services)
  

• Understanding of DevOps and SRE principles and methodologies
