Job Description
- Knowledge in configuration, administration of middleware platforms (e.g., Wildfy, IBM WebSphere, Apache, Tomcat, Jboss )
- Support the deployment and management of middleware services both on-prem and cloud platforms
- Perform basic troubleshooting of middleware-related issues and escalate complex problems to senior team members.
- Good understanding in Dev Ops Platform - Administration- Docker/Containers and Kubernetes.
- Support application integration efforts by ensuring middleware components are properly configured.
- Maintain documentation of system configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps.
- Monitor and troubleshoot cloud middleware performance and connectivity issues.
- Support containerized application deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Collaborate with development and infrastructure teams to ensure middleware aligns with application requirements.
- Participate in incident response and root cause analysis for system outages or performance issues.
- Support containerization efforts using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
- Assist in deploying, managing, and troubleshooting Kubernetes clusters in cloud
- Assist in system upgrades, patches, and migration.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to integrate middleware into CI/CD pipelines.
- Knowledge on operations & production support with large and critical applications in multiple technologies.
- Maintain and update infrastructure documentation and runbooks.
- Familiarity with Unix/Linux and Windows operating systems.
- Monitor system performance and availability using tools like Prometheus, New Relic, Sumologic
- You'll be responsible for coordinating and managing the day-to-day operations within the team.
- Exposure to cloud platforms like AWS, Azure.
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash )
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to learn new technologies and cross skilling.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
- Provide 24x7 on-call support for Major production issues.
- Participate in on-call rotations to support production environments.
- Need to work on rotational shifts
