Job Description
Lead – Workload Automation/TWS Maestro
Location: Hyderabad
Experience: 8–10 years in TWS/Maestro administration
Role Summary
The Lead – Workload Automation will oversee and evolve global TWS Maestro Admin operations, ensuring high availability, automation, and alignment with business objectives. This role requires deep expertise in TWS Admin frameworks, leadership in multi-vendor environments, and a strong focus on operational excellence and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Leadership
Lead and evolve the TWS/Maestro admin operations function across global teams.
Represent scheduling in leadership forums and strategic planning sessions.
Technical Expertise
Architect and optimize job scheduling frameworks using TWS/Maestro.
Drive system upgrades, cloud migration, and process automation initiatives.
Automate common operational, administration, and monitoring tasks for TWS infrastructure.
Operational Excellence
Drive incident and problem management with root cause resolution.
Develop and maintain service catalogs, automation standards, and operational playbooks.
Ensure SLA adherence and service integrity across teams.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
Partner with engineering and business stakeholders to align scheduling strategies with business goals.
Collaborate with Portfolio Lead and senior leadership on team development.
Team Leadership
Lead and mentor a team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
Promote knowledge sharing and first-time fix culture across support tiers.
Qualifications & Skills
Education: Professional degree in IT or equivalent experience.
Technical Skills:
Expertise in TWS/HWA (versions 9.x & 10.x, DWC) administration and scheduling.
Advanced scripting (PowerShell, Python, UNIX shell; Perl preferred).
Experience with cloud-native scheduling and hybrid environments (AWS/Azure).
Leadership Skills:
Proven leadership in matrixed, multi-vendor environments.
Strong communication, stakeholder management, and escalation handling skills.
Preferred Experience
Cloud technologies and Maestro product usage in cloud environments.
Designing dashboards and reports for application metrics.
Applying patches for vulnerabilities and maintaining compliance.
Additional Requirements
Ability to work in shifts and participate in incident calls for prompt resolution.
Strong documentation skills for best practices and operational procedures.
