Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves developing and configuring software systems tailored to meet specific requirements within the product lifecycle. This role requires applying a comprehensive understanding of various technologies, methodologies, and tools to support clients and projects effectively. The work includes collaborating with different stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and functionality of software components, while continuously adapting to evolving project needs and technological advancements. The position demands a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to delivering high-quality software solutions that align with organizational goals.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead efforts to identify and implement process improvements within the team.
- Mentor junior team members to foster professional growth and skill development.
- Coordinate cross-functional communication to ensure alignment on project objectives.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in PTC Windchill.
- Strong knowledge of software development lifecycle and configuration management.
- Experience with system integration and customization within product lifecycle management environments.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex software issues efficiently.
- Familiarity with scripting and automation to enhance system functionality.
- Excellent analytical skills to assess and improve software performance.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in PTC Windchill.
- This position is based at our Pune office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
