Summary:
As a Custom Software Engineer, a typical day involves leading the design, construction, and configuration of software applications. This role requires taking charge of the development process, ensuring that the applications meet the required specifications and standards. The individual acts as the main liaison for the project, coordinating efforts across various teams and stakeholders to deliver effective software solutions. The position demands a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous engagement with the project lifecycle from inception through deployment and maintenance.

Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Oversee the implementation of best practices and ensure adherence to project timelines and quality standards.
- Facilitate communication and knowledge sharing among team members to foster a collaborative work environment.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and development.

Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP HANA DB Administration.
- Strong knowledge of database management, performance tuning, and troubleshooting within SAP HANA environments.
- Experience in managing database security, backup, and recovery processes to ensure data integrity and availability.
- Ability to monitor system health and optimize resource utilization for efficient database operations.
- Familiarity with scripting and automation tools to streamline administrative tasks and improve operational efficiency.
- Capability to work with cross-functional teams to support application integration and deployment activities.

Additional Information:
- The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SAP HANA DB Administration.
- This position is based at our Mumbai office.
- A 15 years full time education is required.
