Your key responsibilities
- Able to write complex queries in Oracle
- Able to do PLSQL development.
- Able to review Oracle queries and PLSQL code written by others.
- Provide technical guidance and support to application teams on the Oracle development
- Collaborate with data experts, analysts, and product teams to understand data needs and deliver effective solutions.
- Automate data processing tasks using scripting languages like Python.
- Guide junior team member and grads in Oracle and python work
- Take end to end responsibility of the data work.
- Learn and work in GCP
- Design end to end solution for Oracle and Python related work.
- Collaborate with business on the requirements.
Your skills and experience
- 12+ years of experience as a Data Engineer or similar role
- Extensive experience in designing, developing, and deploying data pipelines in a cloud environment.
- Extensive experience with Oracle DB
- Development experience in PL/SQL.
- Expert in Oracle queries and PLSQL development
- Some understanding around Oracle performance tuning
- Good understanding of Python language
- Strong understanding of data security and access control principles.
- Able to design solutions in Oracle and Python
- Good communication skills.
Nice to Have
- Experience in high level python programming like pandas
- Java Development experience (Spring Boot).
- Basic understanding of GCP Big query, buckets, cloud functions.
