Depot Manager - To ensure uninterrupted and timely supply of products in the right quality and quantity, maintain optimum inventory levels, and uphold operational efficiency through effective coordination with internal teams, transporters, and external stakeholders. The role emphasizes compliance with statutory and safety standards, preventive maintenance of infrastructure, financial discipline, and adherence to SOPs to drive marketing profitability and customer satisfaction
ResponsibilitiesTo meet full Demand of sales Team
- Ensure timely execution of indents with zero pending requests.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve complete execution of requirements.
Quality and Quantity Once located, ensuring construction of retail outlet as per company & govt. norms
- Ensure product quality and quantity before dispatch.
- Verify invoice density for accuracy and eliminate errors.
- Maintain quality control in line with IQCM standards.
- Achieve zero complaints from franchisees regarding quality and quantity.
Safety of Operations
- Conduct regular training for TT crews and contract manpower.
- Ensure proper branding of TTs and maximize fleet utilization.
- Comply with safety norms as per HSE policy.
- Ensure proper use of PPEs by TT crews, contract manpower, and staff.
- Coordinate with the Sales team to ensure timely execution of indents
Upkeep of Depot and Preventive maintenance of Plant and Equipment
- Ensure regular preventive maintenance of all equipment.
- Maintain proper housekeeping standards across the facility.
- Ensure availability of essential equipment spares at all times.
Reconciliation
- Reconciling accounts of retail outlets and ensuring all product loads are dispatched against proper payment.
- Monitoring and controlling stock losses in line with defined targets
- Ensuring accuracy and timeliness in invoicing
- Maintaining financial discipline across all operations
Statutory Compliance
- Timely filing of statutory returns
- Timely renewal of all statutory licenses
- Ensuring statutory compliance
Budgetary Control: Controlling and monitoring the expenses
Qualifications- Educational Qualifications: Engineering Graduate
- Relevant: Preferably 4 years & Total Years of Experience: 10 years
Required Functional Skills:
- SAP SD and MM module
- Knowledge of supply sources, tankages & geographical spread of the country.
- Oil Industry Manuals like IQCM, OISD and safe operation practices preferred.
