We’re seeking a forward-thinking, execution-oriented Distinguished Engineer to lead product innovation, technology roadmap, and Ai driven execution for our enterprise-grade data resiliency platform. You will be a technical lead in the product team of high-caliber engineers and collaborate across product, sales, marketing, ATS, and executive teams to define how the world’s most data-sensitive organizations stay resilient and agile.
Key Responsibilities & ContributionsStrategic Leadership and Organizational Impact- Partner with executive leadership (ELT) to define product and technology vision and strategy.
- Influence company-wide priorities based on market trends, academic research, and emerging technologies.
- Drive architectural roadmaps and implementation plans across multiple products and business units.
- Recommends operational plans and strategies that will directly impact the achievement of overall functional results, such as AI
- Communicates with parties within and outside of their own job function.
- Will have responsibility for communicating with parties external to the organization (e.g., customers, vendors, etc.)
- Works to influence parties within and outside of the job function at an operational level regarding policies, practices and procedures.
- Produce significant contributions in code, architecture, and technical artifacts.
- Provide technical guidance on disruptive technologies and resolve complex technical conflicts.
- Research and analyze external companies, open-source projects, and industry trends to accelerate innovation.
- Contribute across the entire product/technology lifecycle: Vision → Strategy → Architecture → Proof of Concept → Design & Implementation → Incubation → Adoption → Market Presence → Value Realization.
- Represent InfoScale at conferences, industry standards bodies, and open-source communities.
- Publish internal and external technical papers.
- Build strong technology communities and mentor technical talent across the company.
- Known across the industry as a technical visionary.
- Influences executives on long-term strategic direction and complex technical issues.
- Builds relationships with external subject matter experts and represents InfoScale in industry forums.
- Expertise in multiple domains critical to InfoScale (e.g., storage, security, cloud architecture, UX, AI).
- Deep knowledge of programming languages (C, C++, Java, Python, plus emerging languages like Go, Swift, R).
- Experience with open-source frameworks and PaaS.
- Proven track record of innovation, patents, and enterprise-class software development. Any prior InfoScale experience would be a significant advantage
- Demonstrated ability to drive change at company and industry levels.
- Exceptional communication skills to influence technical and executive audiences.
- High emotional intelligence, collaboration skills, and ability to lead in ambiguous environments.
- Strong coaching and mentoring skills to grow technical talent across the organization.
- Architectural roadmaps enabling long-term evolution.
- New product development and process optimization.
- Intellectual property creation for competitive differentiation.
- Requires advanced knowledge of the job area typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience. May have practical knowledge of project management.
- Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 15 years of prior relevant experience.
