Engineer I Mechanical Engineering IX

Brief Job Description: 

Primary Objective of the position: Work in coordination with the Manager / Dy Managers on projects, assignments such as, Bills of Materials, Modelling, Drafting, CAD, and CO to maintain desired quality levels set by the organisation.

Job Responsibility

1. Work on Engineering Support, New Product Development and VA/VE, Quality Improvement
2. Understanding customer requirements and delivering as per need 
3. Work on design and development of parts/assembly, & Provide design packages including 3D models, assemblies, drawings, and BOM structures
4. Interact with other design team members to meet and optimise product design requirements.
5. Accept additional roles and responsibilities as required
6. Adherence to the project management process set by the organisation

Job Requirements

1. Minimum Diploma/B.E in mechanical Engineering with relevant exposure to a design environment. 
2. 3-5 years of experience in Creo in the sheet metal domain is a must
3. Experience in Bills of Materials, Modelling, Drafting, CR/CO
4. Working experience with any PLM tools, e.g. Oracle, Team Centre or Windchill, will be an advantage
5. Knowledge of the sheet metal manufacturing process must
6. Experience in telecom/electrical enclosure design is an added advantage
7. Good Interpersonal skills & ability to communicate effectively in both written and spoken English
8. Self-motivated, disciplined, passionate, Willingness to learn and organised
