The Mechanical Engineer supports New Product Development tasks for the company’s Thermal products.

- Work in a multi-disciplinary engineering team for New product development, Engineering to order for following ranges of units:
- Liquid Cooling Product, i.e. Cooling Distribution Unit, Out Door Heat Rejection
- Chiller
- Computer Room Air Conditioning (CRAC),
- In Row
- Mobile
- To design solutions with a focus on the mechanical aspects (mainly sheet metal and piping), collaborating with suppliers, Procurement, and Industrial Engineering, being aware of the necessary product marketing inputs.
- To create and review product documentation (CAD drawings, specifications, bills of material).
- To meet objectives of cost, quality, environment and time of execution, achieving the best trade-off between market and internal customer needs.
- To analyze and resolve technical problems as regards products under his/her responsibility; improving, updating, reviewing the mechanical drawings according to the information from the Production, Procurement and Logistics departments, so as to simplify the assembly, reducing the costs and improving the quality.
- A high level of experienced CAD skill, combined with a good attention to details. Model based definition in CAD.
- Design using Cero has added advantage.
- Knowledge on data management, problem solving techniques, Pugh matrix analysis, DFMEA, DFA/DFM/DFS design for cost and serviceability.
Bachelor In Mechanical Engineering or equivalent.

- 3~7 years of engineering product development or support experience.
- Strong credential of working on Mechanical Design tools,
- MBD (Model Based Definition) experience preferred
- CREO preferred
- Significant Sheetmetal design experience
- Working knowledge of mechanical concepts, products, safety and test-methods.
- Data-entry systems familiarity & Bill of Material Creation Experience - Oracle, Agile, etc.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to solve (and prevent) a wide range of problems quickly and logically.
- Excellent planning, organizing, documentation, and communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and operate in cross functional Global Development Teams.
