Position Summary:

The Expert Strategic Sourcing Specialist is a highly experienced professional managing the most complex and high-value sourcing initiatives. Expert in multiple categories especially IT hardware, software, professional services and contingent workforce. They work closely with executive leadership to develop and execute sourcing strategies that align with the company's goals.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Review market data to understand consumer behavior, industry trends, growth opportunities, and competitive dynamics to drive sourcing decisions and secure our material and services supply chain.
• Work with leadership to design category strategies in line with company’s requirement and growth plans.
• Analyze spend, plan and execute sourcing strategies to drive overall value on the material and services, reduce cost, manage consolidations, discounts and rebates across spend.
• Drive tangible hard / soft savings and cost avoidance to stay in-line with budget.
• Review and manage the health of contracts over the contract life cycle management.
• Implement global best practices and ability to analyze contractual risks and put mitigations in place while re-negotiating the contracts and reducing risks.
• Contract management, supplier management, bid management and exhibits good coordination across all procurement functions.
• Manage the most complex sourcing initiatives, including evaluation of supplier capabilities, contract negotiation, and ensuring cost-effectiveness while maintaining service quality, reliability, and/or other value drivers.
• Develop and execute sourcing strategies in collaboration with executive leadership.
• Coordinate with internal teams and external suppliers to gather necessary information.
• Review and validate sourcing documents for completeness and accuracy.
• Analyze supplier capabilities and develop highly competitive sourcing proposals.
• Maintain accurate records of sourcing activities and outcomes.
• Participate in sourcing strategy meetings and provide input.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Provide expert guidance and support to the strategic sourcing team.

Technical Skills

• Graduate with minimum 12 years of experience in Strategic sourcing and procurement with working experience in core strategic sourcing with multiple categories.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with internal stakeholders and outside suppliers
• Creative & strategic thinking with competitive attitude to work in
