Financial Controller will be responsible to ensure that the global accounting processes, IFRS and group guidelines are followed. He/ She need to ensure the accounting and reporting is completed in timely and accurate manner. He / She will also be responsible to liaise with auditors.
He/she is expected to act proactively to search for and implement continuous improvements in areas of General Ledger accounting, controlling and reporting across Group entities

This role is pivotal for ensuring the seamless execution of finance controlling responsibilities across Group entities and MLL, while also overseeing the HSUD corporate controlling function. The role involves providing leadership over parent entity A.P. Moller Maersk controlling, managing investment accounts, overseeing revenue and asset account controlling, as well as fixed and variable cost controlling, payroll accounts, and administrating Impero controls from Group and Segments. Additionally, this role’s responsibilities include detailed oversight of income statements, cash flow controlling, and offering comprehensive views on balance sheet controlling for MLB and Group entities, all of which are reported to senior leadership.
This role is also responsible for maintaining the integrity of the books, supporting audit processes, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Control Group, HSUD entities BS and PnL accounts.
Perform month end accounting and reporting activities, handling of special or one-off issues.
Review, validate and update the accounting records, reporting and ensure those are as per in compliant.
Liaise and provide timely updates to all the stakeholders especially management.
Audit of Head Quarter geography.
Suggest recommendations for development and implement changes to processes and systems -
Considering latest development in accounting.
Which will minimise risk, improve control environment and productivity.

Required expeirnce & skills -
- Chartered Accountant
- IFRS Diploma from ICAI/ ACCA or good working knowledge is preferred
- Minimum 6 to 8 years of post-qualification experience within reporting and controlling, accounting, or in business finance
- Good understanding of accounting systems and global accounting.
- Proactive, Self-motivated and continuously looks for opportunities to improve financial reporting and processes by exploring new approaches and ideas
- Excellent analytical and structured working method
- High competency in written and verbal English
- Adapts easily to a fast-changing environment and ability to handle phases with high workload and unplanned activities
