Redis is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Business Analyst to join our Go-to-Market FP&A team.
As an Analyst, you will be responsible for supporting the FP&A and broader organization in scaling its planning systems and processes. You will report to the VP of Finance and collaborate with our FP&A and Finance Operations teams to start.
The ideal candidate is a hands-on self-starter with a fundamental understanding of data analytics, systems integrations, and optimizing model delivery (for speed and outcomes). You will have experience with high-growth SaaS companies and be able to effectively project manage inbound requests by leveraging an ROI-based framework for categorizing tasks. You must possess high integrity and be able to operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.

What you’ll do:
FP&A Planning Tool Ownership
- Serve as the primary business owner for our financial planning tool (Drivetrain) to enable accurate, timely, and scalable planning processes (budgeting, forecasting, and scenario modeling.
- Translate business requirements into system configurations, model logic, lists, hierarchies, workflows, and role-based access in Drivetrain.
- Drive enhancements and manage release testing/UAT, validations, and post-release monitoring; maintain user documentation and training materials.
- Establish governance around versions/scenarios, metadata, and master data (e.g., COA, departments, product lines, geos).
- Own day-to-day administration: troubleshooting, data refresh schedules, integrations monitoring, and user support.
Financial Systems & Process Optimization
- Partner with IT/Finance Systems to integrate Drivetrain with ERP (e.g., NetSuite), HRIS, data warehouse, and other source systems; define data contracts and SLAs.
- Identify process gaps and opportunities for automation across planning, reporting, and close; propose solutions and lead implementation.
- Support data governance and controls to ensure consistency and accuracy of financial data across tools; contribute to SOX-aligned change management.
- Support FP&A cycles (monthly/quarterly forecast, annual plan, Board reporting) using system-driven models and reports.
- Build and maintain dashboards and standardized reporting to enable self-service insights for finance and business leaders.
What will you need to have?
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Information Systems, or related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in FP&A, business systems, or financial technology roles.
- Hands-on development experience with financial planning tools — Drivetrain strongly preferred; Pigment, Anaplan, Adaptive, or similar acceptable.
- Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets and comfort working with large datasets; ability to structure ambiguous problems with clear analytical frameworks.
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite), HRIS (e.g., HiBob, Workday), and CRM (e.g., Salesforce) data structures.
- Experience integrating data from data warehouses (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery) to BI/reporting tools (Looker, Tableau, Power BI).
- Basic understanding of corporate financials and planning concepts: P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, revenue recognition basics, opex/capex, headcount planning, and SaaS metrics.
