  • Operations & SLAs: Manage daily workload distribution, task assignments, and shift coverage while setting clear goals, KPIs, and tracking team SLAs.

  • Escalations & Hiring: Serve as the primary point of escalation for complex travel issues and partner in hiring, onboarding, and talent retention strategies.

Travel Operations & Strategy

  • End-to-End Travel Management: Oversee complete workflows for domestic and international travel, including flights, hotels, ground transport, and executive/VIP bookings.

  • Policy Compliance & Auditing: Enforce, refine, and audit global travel policies to ensure adherence to company budgets and operational SOPs.

  • Duty of Care & Compliance: Oversee traveler safety tracking, emergency response protocols during global disruptions, and manage visa/passport processes.

  • OBT Administration: Supervise the administration, configuration, and user adoption of Online Booking Tools (e.g., Navan, SAP Concur, Amex GBT).

  • Helpdesk & System Optimization: Drive continuous tool integrations with IT, improve user profile management, and maintain high support standards for employee queries.

  • Supplier Negotiations: Cultivate strategic relationships with TMCs, airlines, hotel chains, and car rental partners to secure competitive rates.

  • Financial Processing: Manage central billing, virtual payment workflows, expense reconciliation, and budget reporting alongside Finance, HR, and Legal teams.

  • Spend Reporting & Insights: Analyze travel data, track budget variances, identify cost-saving opportunities, and present actionable reporting to executive leadership.

What You’ll Need:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree required; Travel & Tourism certifications (e.g., GTP, CSTM) are an added advantage.

  • Industry Experience: 7–9+ years in corporate travel management, TMC operations, or hospitality.

  • Leadership Experience: 2+ years of direct supervisory or team management experience.

  • Deep understanding of corporate travel practices, GDS systems, multi-country routings, and global travel economics.

  • Hands-on proficiency with OBTs (Navan, Concur, Amex GBT), corporate payment/reconciliation mechanisms, and Duty of Care platforms.

  • Advanced MS Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) is a plus.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with executive presentation capabilities.

  • Strong vendor negotiation and cross-functional stakeholder management skills.

  • Proven ability to remain calm and resolve emergency travel disruptions efficiently.

  • Proven experience utilizing AI technologies to enhance decision-making, streamline workflows and processes, improve efficiency and drive business outcomes.
