Position Summary
The System Design Lead/Project Manager will ensure that new tools and systems are designed to meet both current and future business requirements. This role will lead the design, development, testing, and deployment processes of our tools/systems and play a pivotal role in facilitating the effective adoption and ongoing management of new tools and systems within the GCC. Responsibilities include supporting usage and reporting efforts, ensuring seamless integration and optimal performance.
Responsibilities
Tool Design Lead Responsibilities Include:
- Tool Design and Development: Lead the design and development of new tools and systems to meet the needs of the GCC.
- Roadmap Management: Manage the roadmap for tool development, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables such as reports, alerts, and dashboards.
- Stakeholder Requirements: Gather stakeholder requirements to ensure the tools meet GCC needs.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with IT and vendors as necessary.
- Training Materials: Develop training materials and conduct training sessions for users.
- User Feedback: Gather feedback from users to continuously improve the functionality and usability of the tools and manage vendor discussions.
- Support & Troubleshooting: Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for users.
- KPI Implementation: Implement KPIs to measure the effectiveness of the tools, such as improving scope clarity and resource management.
Tool Project Manager Responsibilities Include:
- Implementation Support: Assist in the rollout and implementation of new tools/systems.
- Training & Adoption: Coordinate training sessions to help users effectively use new tools.
- Reporting & Analysis: Manage the reporting framework and delivery for key stakeholders.
- Liaison Role: Act as a liaison within the team and across all stakeholders to ensure all parties are informed.
Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience in system design, development, and project management.
- Strong understanding of tool/system design principles and methodologies.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to gather and analyze requirements from stakeholders.
- Experience with developing training materials and conducting training sessions.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables simultaneously.
Desired Skills & Experience
- Experience working with global teams.
- Familiarity with resource management and scoping tools.
- Proficiency in project management software (Asana Preferred).
