Role description:
The Global Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging Specialist role is part of the Global Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging Centre of Expertise (COE) who are responsible for providing knowledge, expertise, strategic direction and workstreams needed to increase diversity, equity and inclusion and realise our vision of increasing access, enhancing welfare, and fostering a stronger sense of belonging for all - in short Improving Quality of Life.
Role accountabilities:
This role will:
- Be a key point of contact for Affinity Groups globally
- Support engagement across stakeholders in the business, including the People Function
- Support the development and tracking of KPIs to measure the impact and effectiveness of DEIB initiatives and identify insights and opportunities
- Program Implementation and Delivery Support
- Stakeholder Engagement and Collaboration
- Champion and advocate for inclusive culture
- Supporting Affinity Groups daily
- Implement agreed program activities within approved budget, quality, and time parameters
- Recommend delivery approaches and plans for review with the Global Affinity Group Manager and key stakeholders
- Maintain project delivery plans and control mechanisms to support delivery tracking, risk identification, and escalation
Qualifications & Experience:
- Expertise and experience within DEIB
- Relevant experience including management of small to medium sized projects
- Strong ability to use project management tools to coordinate activities, track progress, and support delivery
- Experience supporting business relationships and engaging stakeholders at multiple levels.
- Aware of global issues impacting Affinity Groups to proactively engage
- Data-driven mindset, able to translate metrics into actionable insights.
- Change management experience including stakeholder engagement during time of change
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work cross-culturally
- Experience supporting the coordination and delivery of global Affinity Group programs or related employee engagement initiatives and be aware of global issues to proactively engage - employee engagement skillset
