Here’s a summary of the role:   

Join our growing Finance team in our Mumbai Centre of Excellence (CENX). Reporting to one of the Leaders in the Finance CENX Team, also based in Mumbai, this role will support our global finance processes from how we transact with clients and suppliers to our accounting processes. 

Our 12-month graduate programme offers global accounting process training, on-the-job coaching, and support from our People Experience & Development team. An opportunity to progress in the role will be available at the end of the programme, based on performance. 


Here’s a breakdown of what you’ll do (not all of it, just the important stuff):  

There will be an opportunity to work in these areas, such as: 

  • Order to Cash (O2C) – Support the end-to-end billing and cash application process, ensuring clients are contracted correctly, invoices are issued accurately, payments are collected on time, and all transactions are recorded in compliance with IFRS 15. 
  • Record to Report (R2R) – Assist in maintaining accurate financial records by posting journal entries, reviewing the balance sheet, and supporting the monthly financial reporting process. 
  • Payroll – Help ensure employees worldwide are paid accurately and on time by addressing payroll queries and ensuring correct accounting entries.
  • Master Data Management & RPA – Work with finance teams to implement and maintain RPA solutions for repetitive tasks, ensuring smooth operations and troubleshooting issues. Support the implementation of new finance tools, integrations between ERP systems, and enhancements to existing processes. 

Responsibilities: 

  • Ensuring processes are run accurately and on time. 
  • Suggesting and implementing process improvements. 

These are the essentials you’ll need to get an interview:  

Technical Skills: 

  • Preferred qualification of a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, technology or business-related disciplines. 
  • Experience in roles which has involved finances, numbers or dealing with stakeholders. 
  • Proficiency in basic accounting principles. 
  • Strong communication skills. 
  • Familiarity with MS Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint, is advantageous. 

 

Behavioural Skills: 

  • Demonstrates a strong ability to work well within a team. 
  • Quick learner with a flexible approach to work. 
  • Proven ability to deliver results effectively and efficiently.
