Full Stack Engineer (Java + Salesforce Integration)

Purpose of the role

To design, develop and improve software, utilising various engineering methodologies, that provides business, platform, and technology capabilities for our customers and colleagues. 

Accountabilities

• Development and delivery of high-quality software solutions by using industry aligned programming languages, frameworks, and tools. Ensuring that code is scalable, maintainable, and optimized for performance.
• Cross-functional collaboration with product managers, designers, and other engineers to define software requirements, devise solution strategies, and ensure seamless integration and alignment with business objectives.
• Collaboration with peers, participate in code reviews, and promote a culture of code quality and knowledge sharing.
• Stay informed of industry technology trends and innovations and actively contribute to the organization’s technology communities to foster a culture of technical excellence and growth.
• Adherence to secure coding practices to mitigate vulnerabilities, protect sensitive data, and ensure secure software solutions.
• Implementation of effective unit testing practices to ensure proper code design, readability, and reliability.

To be successful as a “Full Stack Engineer (Java + Salesforce Integration)”, you should have experience with:

Basic/ Essential Qualifications:

• Strong experience in enterprise application development, with hands-on expertise in Java backend development and Salesforce platform.
• Experience delivering solutions in large-scale, distributed systems within enterprise environments.
• Ownership mindset with ability to drive end-to-end development and integration deliver
• Java & Backend Engineering Expertise (Primary & Mandatory).
• Strong hands-on experience in Core Java (8+), OOP, collections, exception handling.
• Experience building microservices using Spring / Spring Boot.
• Experience with REST API design, distributed systems, and integration patterns.
• Strong understanding of multi-threading, concurrency, and performance optimization.
• Experience with batch processing, schedulers, and backend data workflows.
• Familiarity with logging, monitoring, and observability practices.
• Experience designing end-to-end distributed solutions across Java and Salesforce systems.
• Strong understanding of API orchestration ,Event-driven architecture ,Data synchronization strategies.
• Experience working in high-availability, secure enterprise platforms.
• Hands‑on experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), SOQL, and Salesforce platform fundamentals.
• Experience building integrations between Salesforce and backend systems (REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, asynchronous processing).
• Exposure to OmniStudio (FlexCards, OmniScripts, DataRaptors) is a plus.
• Experience with Salesforce CI/CD and DevOps practices.

Desirable skillsets/ good to have:

• Master’s degree in a technical field (Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent).
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work across multiple business and IT environments globally.
• Prior experience working in investment banking or financial services (nice to have).
• Proactive team player with well-developed interpersonal and mentoring skills.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and adapt to changing demands.
• Proven ability to remain calm and effective in high-pressure situations.
