Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Senior Product Manager to lead the strategy, development, and delivery of mission-critical capabilities across our product suite.
In this role, you will own end-to-end product outcomes—from defining strategy and roadmap to driving execution and customer adoption. You will work closely with customers, engineering, design, and go-to-market teams to deliver solutions that address real-world investigative challenges in complex operational environments.
You will act as the voice of the customer, ensuring that product decisions are grounded in user needs, market realities, and business objectives.
RequirementsAs a Cognyter you will:
1. Product Strategy & Ownership
- Define and own the product vision, strategy, and long-term roadmap aligned with company goals and market needs
- Identify key opportunities for growth, differentiation, and innovation across the product portfolio
- Lead the product lifecycle end-to-end, from discovery and requirements definition through development, launch, and continuous iteration, in close collaboration with R&D and UX
- Drive prioritization of features based on business needs and impact
2. Customer & Market Understanding
- Lead customer discovery, validation, and ongoing engagement with law enforcement and intelligence agencies
- Develop a deep understanding of customer workflows, operational environments, and regulatory constraints
- Translate customer needs into clear product requirements and value propositions
3. Roadmap & Execution
- Own and maintain the product roadmap, balancing strategic initiatives with near-term deliverables
- Work closely with engineering and design to deliver high-quality features on time
- Define success metrics (KPIs/OKRs) and track product performance post-launch
4. Cross-Functional Leadership
- Collaborate with engineering, UX, QA, product marketing, and sales to drive execution
- Act as the central point of alignment between business, technology, and customer needs
- Ensure clear communication of priorities, trade-offs, and progress across stakeholders
5. Go-To-Market & Adoption
- Partner with product marketing on positioning, messaging, and enablement
- Support customer demos, design partner programs, and field engagements
- Drive adoption and customer success through continuous feedback loops
6. Competitive & Industry Insight
- Conduct ongoing market and competitive analysis
- Identify trends in investigative analytics, AI-driven intelligence, and cyber technologies
- Leverage insights to inform product direction and differentiation
Requirements
Core Experience
- 10+ Years Total exp
- 5+ years of experience in Product Management, preferably in B2B or B2G environments
- Strong technical background, with the ability to understand complex systems, data flows, and architectural tradeoffs
- Proven track record of delivering complex, data-driven products from concept to launch
- Experience owning product strategy, roadmap, and execution end-to-end
Product & Execution Skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities
- Experience defining KPIs, measuring impact, and driving outcome-based delivery
- Ability to translate customer needs into scalable product solutions
Customer & Domain Understanding
- Experience working with enterprise or mission-critical systems
- Familiarity with regulated environments or government customers – advantage
- Experience with investigative, intelligence, or cyber domains – advantage
Collaboration & Leadership
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to influence cross-functional teams without direct authority
- Strong balance of strategic thinking and hands-on execution
Nice to Have
- Knowledge or hands-on experience in IP traffic analysis, network protocols, or communication data – big advantage
- Background in Cyber Intelligence, intelligence analysis, or cyber operations – big advantage
- Background in data analytics, AI/ML-driven products, or large-scale data platforms - Advantage
