We're looking for an International Localization Dubbing Specialist to oversee the production of Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu dubs, manage vendor relationships, and ensure the timely and high-quality delivery of episodic marketing content and related assets. You'll report to the Senior Manager of International Dubbing and serve as a subject matter expert for the Indian media and localization landscape.
You'll act as a key communication bridge between vendors, translation, programming, and distribution teams, ensuring all localized content meets both licensors' and Crunchyroll's creative and technical standards in a fast-paced environment.
Core Areas of Responsibility- Project Management
- Manage competing priorities, timelines, and stakeholder communication to keep projects on track.
- Monitor and report project progress, escalating issues when needed.
- Partner with your manager to document dubbing workflows and SOPs.
- Identify opportunities to streamline and improve processes.
- Understand the full supply chain to propose practical solutions and efficiencies.
- Communicate effectively with localization and partner teams to ensure alignment.
- Anticipate potential issues and address them proactively.
- Build strong cross-functional awareness to understand how decisions impact other teams.
We get excited about candidates, like you, because...
- 5+ years of experience in localization, dubbing, or production within the entertainment industry
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Media, Business, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- Strong understanding of the Indian media and localization landscape
- Proven experience managing dubbing projects to completion and leading vendors or teams
- Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
- Creative problem-solver with the ability to balance multiple priorities diplomatically
- Proficient in Google Suite, PowerPoint or Keynote, and Airtable
- Fluent in English and Hindi; proficiency in Tamil,Telugu languages a strong plus
- Passion for anime, Japanese culture, and entertainment
- Travel as needed
