Job Summary
Synechron is looking for a proficient Java Developer to join our dynamic technology team. This role is crucial in developing and maintaining high-quality Java applications that support organizational business goals. The Java Developer will contribute by writing clean, efficient code and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that meet evolving business needs.
Software Requirements
Required:
Java programming language (Java 8 or higher) with strong hands-on experience
Java frameworks: Spring, Hibernate, Struts — solid working knowledge required
Java development tools: Eclipse, IntelliJ IDEA, NetBeans — practical experience with at least one IDE
Databases: MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server — experience in design, implementation, and management
Preferred:
Familiarity with build tools like Maven or Gradle
Experience with automated testing frameworks (JUnit, TestNG)
Exposure to containerization or cloud deployment (optional)
Overall Responsibilities
Develop, test, and maintain reliable and scalable Java applications aligned with business requirements
Collaborate effectively within cross-functional teams to design software solutions that balance performance and maintainability
Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code adhering to best practices and coding standards
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues in a timely manner ensuring system stability
Keep informed on latest advancements in Java and related technologies, applying relevant updates to projects
Participate in code reviews, knowledge sharing sessions, and continuous improvement initiatives

Programming Languages:
Required: Java (version 8 or higher) — advanced proficiency
Databases/Data Management:
Required: MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server — practical experience with database design and data management
Frameworks and Libraries:
Required: Spring, Hibernate, Struts — demonstrable working knowledge
Development Tools and Methodologies:

4+ years of professional experience in Java development

Conducting unit and integration testing to validate application accuracy and performance
Staying updated with current Java trends and integrating relevant advancements into work practices
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field preferred
Professional Java certifications (e.g., Oracle Certified Professional Java Programmer) are advantageous
