Lead Cloud Engineer (AWS+Azure)
We are seeking an experienced Senior Infrastructure Cloud Engineer to drive our multi-cloud strategy and lead our infrastructure team. This role requires a customer-focused leader who can balance technical excellence with team development while fostering innovation across our cloud operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and optimize AWS and Azure infrastructure environments to ensure high availability, performance, and cost efficiency
Lead infrastructure automation initiatives and implement cloud security protocols across all platforms.
Build and develop a high-performing infrastructure team through mentoring and coaching.
Drive innovation in cloud architecture, deployment strategies, and operational processes
Partner closely with internal stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver customer-centric infrastructure solutions
Collaborate with our internal cloud architects, enterprise security teams to maintain security best practices, compliance standards, and disaster recovery procedures
Required Qualifications:
10+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure management with deep expertise in both AWS and Azure platforms, is a core requirement.
Proven experience with infrastructure automation tools is a must (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation, ARM templates, CI/CD pipelines, Python)
Strong background in cloud security frameworks, identity management, and compliance protocols
Demonstrated leadership experience with track record of building and scaling technical teams, with a customer-focused mindset to translate business requirements into technical solutions
History of driving innovation and implementing emerging technologies in enterprise environments
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate across cross-functional teams
Strong desire to be a lifelong learner that is ready to learn and adopt new technologies as they emerge.
Preferred Qualifications:
Cloud certifications (AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect)
Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies
Background in DevOps practices and site reliability engineering
Varied background with knowledge and exposure to a wide range of technologies.
Knowledge of the OpenShift stack a big plus
