As a result of continued growth, OzoneAPI is looking to recruit a Tools Development Engineer for the position of Lead Engineer, focused on developing and maintaining internal tools and systems and enhancing our software development, deployment and CI/CD processes. Key responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain software automation tools and systems.
- Design and manage CI/CD pipelines, optimising software delivery.
- Write and maintain scripts in bash, typescript and other relevant languages.
- Work on cloud platforms like AWS, OCI and Azure, ensuring robust automation solutions.
- Work with necessary tools to create docker images, compose files, helm charts and other related configurations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand automation needs and provide effective solutions.
- Identify and implement best practices in software development and automation.
- Engage in continuous learning and application of new technologies and tools in automation.
- 10+ years of experience in Infrastructure as Code and tools development.
- Proficiency in one of the major programming languages like Javascript/Typescript, Python, etc. and should be comfortable picking new languages as needed.
- Proficiency with CI/CD tools and processes
- A strong understanding of version control tools and gitops.
- Familiarity with containerisation principles, docker, kubernetes and related tools.
- Experience working in an agile environment and understanding of DevOps practices.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work on complex projects.
- Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration in a team environment.
