Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the Development and product management team to understand product architecture and functionality
- Come up with a Test Strategy to enhance the product quality at every phase of Testing deliverables.
- Ensure all development tasks meet quality criteria through thorough test planning and automation.
- Lead product QA efforts and report to the QA manager for continuous feedback and improvement.
- Ensure QA engineers receive appropriate support such as guidance through testing methodology/process, walking through technical issues or debug builds whenever possible.
- Work diligently to meet project deadlines while continuously raising the standards of all quality processes with each release.
- Drive and own the release deliverables, multitasking wherever required.
- Review test strategies to ensure comprehensive coverage of all testing types, including unit, functional, performance, integration, UAT testing.
- Assist in troubleshooting customer issues and providing root cause analysis as needed.
- Act as the primary contact for the QA team for all escalations related to testing, quality assurance, and automation.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in functional and automating testing of SAAS products
- Prior experience in leading a team is a plus
- Must have experience on any public or private Cloud platform.
- Must have experience with microservices architecture using Kubernetes and Docker containers.
- Good to have experience in UI and API test automation
- Must have Linux knowledge
- Good to have experience on Kafka, Elasticsearch, Cassandra, Oracle DB.
- Good troubleshooting skills, preferably in web application, server/backend testing
