Job Description• Provide support on research assignments to address stakeholder needs.
o Understand data requirement for the engagement and determine effective data sources for the deliverable.
o Preparing insightful Industry, Company, Competitive Intelligence/Benchmarking, reports o Ability to Identify issues, pain-points, growth opportunities for a client
• Designing and preparing deliverables (in MS Word, Excel, POWERPOINT formats)
o Conduct in-depth secondary and research, based on requirement.
o Synthesize and analyze the research findings to come up with strategic solutions/insights for the client. o Prepare final deliverable(s)
• Build strong and relevant professional relationships internally.
• Use research tools and frameworks to develop high-impact deliverables
• Ensure the quality, timeliness, accuracy, and accountability of the assigned research projects.
• Work with moderate supervision on client deliverables and other research initiatives
• The Strategy and consulting team at Sutherland specializes in undertaking analysis, insight generation and final reporting alongside the client’s teams on an extension model basis, holding responsibility for delivering entire workstreams and projects.
QualificationsEducation: MBA (Marketing / Finance / Strategy / etc.) (Preferably from Tier-I/II B-School)
• 2-5 years of experience in market research and consulting projects, with 2+ years of experience in delivering projects such as market entry, market opportunity assessment, market expansion strategy, new product development etc.
• Should have good customer facing capabilities.
• Strong analytical mindset
• Must be able to demonstrate the ability to understand client requirements, and the drive to go beyond stated requirements deliver best possible solutions that fulfil clients’ objectives
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• High problem-solving skills
• Strong numerical, analytical and strategic thinking skills - able to demonstrate how one supports the other - and sound commercial acumen
• Be comfortable working to tight deadlines and demanding requirements
• Driven and ability to work independently
• Flexibility to adapt to a variety of different engagement types, working hours and work environments and locations
