Location: Pune
To build and manage LAHI's curriculum-linked,
multilingual and reusable knowledge and resource system for school
vocational education.
The role is broader than content production. It
will help LAHI convert curriculum, technical expertise and implementation
experience into resources and knowledge that can be adapted and used across
states.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop LAHI's overall content and knowledge architecture.
- Identify resource needs from curriculum, teacher needs,
implementation experience and recurring field problems.
- Decide when to reuse, curate, adapt, contextualise, create or
retire resources.
- Work with NCERT, SCERTs, state departments, boards and other
academic institutions on curriculum-linked resources.
- Build a common-core + state-specific approach to content.
- Lead multilingual translation and contextualisation across
different states and Indian languages.
- Ensure adaptations retain learning outcomes, pedagogy and
assessment intent.
- Manage writers, instructional designers, technical experts,
illustrators, translators and production partners.
- Establish standards for content briefs, technical review,
pedagogical review and release.
- Maintain resource registers, version control, ownership,
permissions, review cycles and repositories.
- Capture learning from LAHI's field work and convert it into
reusable frameworks, tools, guides, cases and knowledge assets.
- Use teacher and field feedback to continuously improve resources.
- The source role similarly covers reuse/adaptation
decisions, reusable versus state-specific content, versioning, repositories,
rights and conversion of field learning into improved resources.
Requirements
Minimum
Experience:
- Around 8–12 years of experience in educational content,
curriculum, instructional design or knowledge management.
- Strong curriculum interpretation and editorial skills.
- Experience managing educational content-development teams and
specialists.
- Experience with multilingual content, localisation or state-level
adaptation.
- Ability to work with government and academic institutions.
- Understanding of versioning, ownership, copyright and resource
maintenance.
- Experience in vocational, practical or experiential education would be
an advantage.
- Willingness to visit schools and training programmes to understand how
resources are actually used.
